About the Founder

Corbin White
As the founder of Art of Waste, Corbin White shares insights on the waste and recycling industry drawn from more than a decade of experience across the circular economy. Corbin began his career at his family’s metal recycling company, Mike’s Scrap Recycling, where he developed a deep appreciation for the industry and gained firsthand experience in the complexities of material recovery, commodity markets, and waste management operations. He later transitioned into the plastics recycling sector, helping develop the supply chains for a first of its kind technology designed to convert plastic waste into circular chemicals, advancing new pathways for material recovery and sustainability. Through experiences spanning metals, plastics, manufacturing, supply chains, operations, and commodity markets, Corbin developed a broad perspective on the systems that drive the movement of materials throughout the economy. Driven by a passion for both the industry and education, he founded Art of Waste to explore and explain the business of circularity providing insights into the markets, infrastructure, technologies, and operations shaping the future of waste and recycling.
